Working to ensure African-American interests are heard- through polling
Although political polling has been used in the U.S. since 1824, there is still some misunderstanding about polling, their intent and impact; as well as who they are for. Below we answer many of those questions and grey areas for you. * What is the difference between a poll and a survey? -A poll asks respondents to answer questions about a jingle topic e.g. should taxes be lowered, * Who decides who will be surveyed? -That is determined by the client and SIP jointly. The "who is based on the audience you want to reach or influence, if respondents need to represent a specific geographic region or demographic, * Does SIP only poll Black voters -No. SIP [p;;ing encompasses * How much does polling cost? The cost of polling is dependent on several factors including: * the sample size. * the completion time. ]*the length of the poll * No SIP polls the target audience our clients identify but work to ensure the African American within that target audience is proportionally represented
