Stony Island Polling is an opinion polling and survey company marrying traditional and state-of-the-art strategies. Our focus is political campaigns, governmental policies, and non-profit organizations.  SIP's strategic approach ensures traditionally overlooked communities' voices are included to help clients make more impactful and relevant decisions.

Polling always gives respondents a choice to express how they perceive a given topic or candidate.

A little more about us

SIP is Chicago's oldest African-American-owned polling firm. Our clients receive the benefits of the combined 60-plus years in media, government relations, research and community engagement. The SIP approach to polling takes into account society's busy life styles and limited attention spans; so all of research outreach is revised in house to ensure the 8-10 questions asked to yield the most accurate replies.

Overlooked no more

Do you recall the last time you were asked to participate in a poll or survey, what about your neighbors, or co-workers? In certain communities, in Chicago and across the country; it is not unusual to encounters adults who offer they have never been asked to participate in a poll-especially political ones; despite the fact the fact they are regular voters. .Stony Island Polling (SIP) was established to change that. Our random sampling begins with those historically overlooked communities, and work our way out from there, Traditionally, polling has worked just the opposite
